There are several ways to serve our country through the military:
- career training - enlisting directly into a branch of the military service
- college degree - programs listed below, with the option to become an officer upon graduation
- Tuition, housing, textbooks, and more can be a benefit depending on the educational option and varying commitments to serve

Military Academies - full four-year scholarships
Senior Military Colleges - (SMCs) offer a combination of higher education with military instruction.
Reserve Officer Training Corps - ROTC programs offered at over a 1.000 colleges. Two ways to enter a college ROTC program:
- 4-year ROTC scholarship recipient
- ROTC college program participant
